I can identify, BG. In my sailoring days, I was winding up the night in a bar in Greenwich Village - me and a great looking girl on the other end of the bar. After a couple of "come on" looks, I told the bartender to give her whatever she was drinking. "That her is a he, sailor," he said. Too bad. It was the best looking prospect I had seen that night... :(

Rdy2play, we sure do know. Now the real hard part, figuring out when and where.
We have had that happen. A little background first, we rarely play on the first meeting. It takes the stress of "will they" or "won't they" out of it and everyone can relax and see if we 'all' click. When we do click we try and get together again real soon, we met a couple at TPA over the winter and we all got along great and at the end of the evening we just asked if they were interested in playing, they are but we have not been able to set it up. We know that we are good to go next time we see them, just not sure when that will be. |
