I never had acted upon my attraction to women, and he and I would find ourselves checking out the same girls. So, we started adding scenarios to our sex life. The whole "you liked the waitress tonight, didn't you...what if..." and the scenarios where he'd come home to find me in bed w/ another guy(s)...it was all hot, and he inherently "knew" me. So, the more we did that, the more we talked about trying it all "for real." So, we both started looking online and joined a friend finder site...met a couple, had dinner, and then after a week or so of getting to know each other, went to their house. We had set boundaries, and we didn't break those. It was a positive experience and I found that I was the first one out of all my clothes. And that seems to be the pattern for me! I just finally can't stand sitting around talking...the sexual pressure just builds up (not every single time, but ok) and I have to DO something or someone! :) We both enjoy it, we both are "equals" in this, and if one of us ever "didn't want to do this anymore," then we would both bow out gracefully and continue to enjoy the best sex life ever...with each other.

For Jay and I, we weren't monogamous for 15 years really because we had morality issues about it...we were just really busy in our lives. We had our daughter while active duty and then we ETS'd and I was in school and Jay was starting his career...then 2 more boys came along within 2 years of each other (ever had TWO in diapers? Its a trip lol) and school, etc. etc. and etc. It was after we were done having babies and they were old enough and were starting to be independent that we started this. So yeah, I think for most of us we weren't reborn so to speak...we were just uber busy. I did love your post though, it is a beautiful thing to be with someone that allows you to be yourself.
