if you have bathrooms in bedrooms, i.e. a master suite, make that room an "open" playroom so that you don't lose that bathroom to shy people who want to lock the door while they play. you may have to take the door off the hinges and put it in the garage because shy people will lock a door even if you post a sign designating it an "open" play room.

went to a party of over 300, house had 6 bathrooms, but by 10pm there were only two open because all the others were in bedrooms which were locked while people played. DISASTER!

have a room open for general socializing, and breaks.

Let people know that a closed door means they do not want additional people

make sure people know how to behave if they are outside in the yard...unless you live in a very secluded area.

We've always had a blast at our own parties, and agree that we love hosting. We provide plenty of towels and washcloths, make sure people understand that they are welcome to stay if drinking, and we don't put up with drama, or we try to fix it, and make sure not to invite those kinds of couples back.

If people are standing around and no one is making the "first move," I will either take off my top, or go down on one of our willing friends to get things started. hey, someone's got to do it, eh?

Invite a good mix of people, and invite just a few couples over the amount you expect. It's up to you whether or not to invite singles, but they can be a fun addition.

Provide a few snacks, fruit, cheese, etc., and plenty to drink (not just alcoholic beverages). Do NOT charge a fee...you can get into big legal trouble that way, not to mention, it's just tacky. If you can't afford to host and provide snacks and drinks, then do not host.

Be prepared for lots of laundry.

Be aware of those claiming they "squirt." This means a big mess for you. Provide lots of extra towels and encourage those ones to USE them.

Themes can be fun, as can a few "ice breakers." But they are not necessary for an erotic, exciting, fun swing house party.
