A majority of couples on the site and the LS in general are above thirty, so yes a proper profile entirely filled out and descriptive will go a long way. If you're brand new to SLS as a SM, you'll need at least a cert for alot of people to take you seriously. Once you get one though, you'll be fine. I don't know specifically what your post said since it's no longer here, but if you have any questions in particular send me a message. Always welcome to help a new person out.

You may indeed be handicapped by never caring to learn good grammar or punctuation or effective sentence construction. Think of it like building a house, or a shed. It's not just pieces of wood stuck together one by one; it's a structure that works. I'm not hoping to discourage you in your pursuits, but to give some useful feedback. A lot of older swingers are even worse with their writing. But you may be young enough to still learn.

Not sure how you tried to put your foot in the door before, but on SLS it counts to have your profile completely, and properly, filled out. That means using spell checker, capital letters, and punctuation. You would not believe, how many people are turned off by incoherent one liner profiles and e-mails. Myself included. To me, you must make your profile stand out. Make it yours, and yours alone. When I see a profile, that may belong to anyone, I am not interested, because it is generic. Pictures, yes, but not this silly stuff. This is an adult site. Be one! Couples have spoken about many young single men suffering from a stage fright, when another man is present in the room. I know, I know, you might be a porn star, but until you prove it, hardly anyone will give you the benefit of the doubt. Cockiness does not equal confidence. You just might have to go to the club, alone, and hopefully get into some action. Perhaps you can get a certification as well. It is paramount. Yes, single men do have it harder that others. Possibly the best thing you can do is to take a look in the forums, seek out the single male forum posters, read their profiles, look at their pictures and certifications, and learn from them. One interesting trend among them is, that they usually DO NOT contact people first. Last, but not least: be patient, and do not take anything personally. You might do everything "just right", and your e-mails will still go unanswered. This is the way it goes. Patience is a virtue. If you are willing to put some sincere effort into this, the rewards will come. :) Good luck!
