Doesn't matter if you're fat or thin, you still must present yourself in your best possible way...and sloppiness, or slobbiness is unattractive at any weight level. To add my own 2 cents worth (maybe I'll up it to 2$ so we can buy a half a gallon of gas), we like socializing with all types of people at clubs/hotels/parties because we hear all kinds of stories about their experiences. At our first hotel event, it helped us feel comfortable to hear other people's adventures, even if the people themselves weren't who we would choose to have sex with. And I'll agree that it's important to continue to learn how to say "no" in ways that are true to your nature and personality. I'm not a "blunt no-er" but I'm learning to be more direct and firm with it, as it's something I've needed to learn in all of life. Good luck, and keep playing, Gina

If the guy can dance and I find him physically sex and my hubby is having fun with the wife lets go have fun. I am not there to make friends, I just want to be comfortable enough with the guy/couple to have a good time.

However now that I am older I can see what they were talking about. I try not to down the young without experience in what they are talking about. however, every now and again you will run into someone that is so arrogant that you just have to remind them they are still young and don't have the mileage we have. The trick is knowing when to treat people as adults and when to pull the KID card.

I realize he is older and wants to run the show...but what do YOU want? This is a team sport...not something run by one part of the couple. By socialize I don't mean in the vanilla sense of having folks over and the like. I mean the fun give and take that happens at clubs. You have to speak to the folks in order to see if they would be fun for the evening. One thing's for sure, this will open your eyes to the power dynamic in your relationship. As you get older you will develop your own ideas about what YOU want, how YOU want to go about things. This will be a time of intense conversation between you guys. I know you are used to saying no to single guys. There is no difference between saying no to a couple or a single woman and to single guys. Remember NO means no. It just takes practice. You will need to be able to say no if someone tries something you are not comfortable with.. No condom, Anal sex... or a woman starts touching you, or if something is not working for you. I would suggest just trying to have fun at first with no sex at all. This is the easiest way to get your feet wet. smile. Mischief.

The idea that people won't look, that you will never have to say no, etc. is not realistic. One of the reasons I like experienced swingers is because they don't mind if you look...or if they or you say NO. Congrats on your fitness program. It is important to maintain a healthy body as we age. Realize that your "progress" will cause folks to want to look more and more folks will approach. Practice saying NO in the mirror. No is a complete sentence. Being able to say no is useful at work, socially, and while swinging. Never explain your NO..It just is. Also just speaking to folks has nothing to do with saying yes to sex. Friendliness is one thing that's fun at clubs. Have fun, M
