We've done that a few times, recently at a meet N Greet at a club and it is amazing how people look so different from their photos. it was funny looking at their profile, John and I were sitting their saying " Is that them, is that them. lol. |

If one reads mail by clicking on the envelope (mail history) the message can be read, but will still appear as un-read.

we have the latest new phones, ours brings up the website, so when we read our mail it shows as already read.
convenient when we have postings in hotdate and are away from home for the weekend or on vacation. it's pretty good with looking up others profiles and pics when people do contact us. |

I can read them from my iphone at work, when I get home they still appear unread in our mailbox.

Some people get their SLS emails forwarded to a personal email, where you can read the entire email, and they can the delete the email on SLS without it ever being "read" on SLS, even though they read it. It's entirely possible that they read the email on their personal email, and for whatever (probably rude) reason, decided not to reply.

We have an email we replied back to and still hasn't been read 795 days later, and they are on every single day, and still are.
and it was a reply that we liked their profile after they wrote that they wanted to meet us. Maybe it's a guy impersonating a couple, you never know. |
