we are having a hard time coming up with a good costume idea also, would like to be original, not something that we've seen 100 times, also some that shows both of us off a bit, nothing that has layers and layers and masks and stuff....
we are kinda thinking leeloo from fifth element white bandage costume for her and he can do some sort of furturistic bruce willis type setup... still thinking.... |

1) her as red riding hood and him as wolf 2) Both as Ghostbusters...yes there is a sexy one of these! 3) Her as a Bavarian beer girl...not sure what her will wear. 4) Both as pirates |

That sounds like a fun approach (layers). But its so hot down here in October that in order to stay comfortable, not much of a costume is a requirement.
