yesterday was an active recovery day (ARD): i did cardio in the morning, again at lunch (total exceeded an hour) but i was just too danged tired to do anything else.

started my day this morning with 39 sweaty elliptical minutes --feeling the tiredness again today. *but* today, i *will* (at the least) get in the day's allotment of squats pliés bridges and crunches.

usually when i'm struggling this much it means i'm about to see more (good) changes.

fingers crossed.

Placed on IR's "Inactive List" yesterday and for today... L4 - bulging disc acting up.

Listed as "Probable" for tomorrow! LOL

45 minutes of elliptical in the morning; 18 minutes treadmill hill intervals level 10 @ 4.3 mph to warm back up.

3 sets of 10 on five iterations for legs. getting progressively heavier and each time i think i've maxed, the different weight configurations at the different gyms lets me eke out another plate at my "home" gym for legs.

3 sets for each: supine bench press barbell; supine bench press with rotation dumbbells; supine overhead pullovers; bent over single arm rows; standing cable oblique pulls; and back extensions.

and i did today's allotment of squats and pliés.

**gasp** i am slipping because nope--i am not doing the bridges or crunches tonight. too. late. too. tired.

1hour of weights, glider thingy and music..very sweaty! :-)

*Chest and Triceps*

Warm with flat bench pull overs 2/25

GVT:

D/B flat bench press 5/ to failure, D/B Incline bench press 5/ to failure

Super set - cable flys and Nautilus bench press 6/8 - 12

Triceps cable push downs 3/8- 12

Seated Triceps extensions 3/ 8 - 12

Triceps cable pyramids 8 sets

Finished the day with another 2000 rep an routine.

36 minutes of elliptical first thing this morning

another 36 minutes of elliptical (hill intervals, yay!!!) this afternoon

1 set max weight on each of five iterations for legs

3 sets each: seated row; lat pull downs wide overhand; lat pull downs narrow underhand grips; deadlift/bent over row combo with barbell; alternating biceps curls; bent elbow arm rotation.

today's allotment of squats pliés bridges and crunches

and a very quick stretch.

Damn Mrs just gave me that look when i said she needed to get on top because she had no exercise all week. I got to work on this approach, it never seems to work.
