I can bound (bunny hop). Gonna try that and see. Still gonna break deadlifts. I may wear my lifters too. They are the addidas hybrid so BJ should still be ok. I have BJ'd in them before. -J

Monday - P90x Back and Chest Tuesday - Run 4 miles Wednesday - P90x Bi and Tri Thursday - Run 4 miles & P90x yoga Friday - Run 4 miles Saturday - Run 4 miles & P90x Kempo Sunday - Break... no wait, run 4 miles

Jesus what is wrong with me... Also, my diet is 1800 cals a Day..

Unless you are a bunny hopper (jump down & immediately pop back up), step-ups are typically faster (if you keep a strong steady rhythm - which I do). Make sure you have a good crowd cheering you, and someone in front of you slightly faster so you can chase them on your lifts/steps. Then a good judge who will coach you on proper form (so you don't mess up your back) and has a "3-2-1" philosophy if you break up any lifts. Don't break your box steps, those need to be FAST.

mrs svc...nice work on the 10 rep increase! Did you step up/jump down?

I got 151 and I stepped. Broke all my DL into sets of 5's then 3's. My legs were completely gassed. A massage sounds great.

I'm going to redo tomorrow night.

Did 14.3 on Friday morning, got 97 reps (tie break at 6:00, too many breaks on the 135 & 155 lb deadlifts).

By Friday afternoon my glutes were spasming. Nice massage on Friday night and on Saturday morning I was good to go again.

Re-did but with breakfast and some caffeine, PR'd with a score of 107 (tiebreak at 4:30, unbroken lifts for 95 & 135 lb, fewer breaks on the 155 lb than Friday).

And "The Dave Castro" made a note of my suggestion that 14.5 be a repeat of 12.1 (the 7 min of burpees).

14.3 -- 8 min AMRAP of box jumps and escalating deadlifts. Oh boy. My lower back is smoked from just watching Tovar and Pichellil go at it.

14.3 - triplet....just know those damn wall balls are coming (HATE wall balls).

I'd LOVE to have 7 min of burpees. Wouldn't that be a huge surprise?

So many hot couples yet so far away. Such is life.

Shoulder day lots of well shoulder stuff plus 545lb shrugs. Not to bad for an old guy.

I overdid it a little on the squats and deadlifts this morning... my lower back was a bit stiff and my right asscheek feels ripped up, although that might be a good thing.

14.2-- Jesse 189 Trish 74 This one smoked my shoulders and I ripped pretty good (bad?) on both hands. That was a stupid mistake. I know better than to let myself rip. Some good Oly training the last two nights. Recovery day today. Rest day tomorrow. 14.3 Friday night. Any guesses? Wall Ball / Box Jump couplet?
