I learned the hard way when I did spin classes without bike shorts and my butt hurt like hell.

I have a small fortune invested in quality bike shorts with quality chamoises and a state-of-the-art bike saddle.

No way I would ever attempt a 55 or 25 Mi bike ride ( or spin wo) without bike shorts....this big old butt of mine thanks me every time!!

that's why i don't do biking. you're supposed to wear special gear with cushioning which is supposed to help with the ow factor.

i still haven't tried a spin class tho because even with sitting normally on a regular chair if i sit too long my tailbone *hurts*. and it's not like i don't have a cushiony butt. cause i do. but apparently the cushiony butt doesn't help with the tailbone ow factor. :-/

Chezde ,does your butt hurt after riding 23 miles . I do 40 minute on a Spin Bike and my butt is hurting me . I'm so dam glad it get off that thing some days

it's been all cardio for the last couple days including today.

hoping to get to the gym tomorrow/friday for some light resistance workouts on top of the cardio.

it's been mostly cardio

today was cardio plus legs over lightly

hopefully some other stuff later tonight but right then my stomach was acting up so had to stop

Today was cardio, 30 mi. on the road bike thingy!

1 mile kayaking and then fighting mighty fish and a mile back.

2-3 cardio sessions per day. tues was 3. yesterday was 3, *plus* a gym w/o:

one set 30 reps each of 5 iterations for legs

full chest w/o

back extensions

weighted windmills

stretch

and best of all: refuel and catch up with my ssgp :-* <3
