Bootcamp/Obstacle Course Sunday Kerry Killer WOD at Camp Rhino. Originally 27 stations, I got through 14 in the 1 hr 45 min. Each station starts with 100m run & 100 single skips jump rope. Example stations were "6 ft wall over and back + 25 pushups", "rope climb + 25 reverse crunches", "traverse wall + 25 curls", and "2 tire flips + 10 one-legged burpees". Got over the 6 ft wall once. Tried the 12 ft wall twice, failed (still working on upper body strength), very very tired - it was my first Sunday Kerry Killer WOD since before my back surgery. I'm sure to be feeling this tomorrow, and a couple days later.

Nj - tried cardio after and it felt wonderful and will try it after tomorrow. Thank you for the advice.

Njny, I have to agree with you.

I was instructed to do cardio first as a warm-up and have always done it that way.

bavard, there are many (differing) opinions on cardio then weights vs weights then cardio.

i prefer cardio first and then weights. i feel it's most efficient.

if you do weights first, and it's legs, then cardio is just that much harder and you can't give it your all.

whereas, "pumped" from cardio, with the endorphins going, weights always feel smoother to me. it's a temptation to lift more than i should (and sometimes i overdo it) but if i do the weights first, cold, so to speak....then it just feels like work all the way through rather than enjoyable.

I'm sure you'll get other feedback, that's mine FWIW. :)

today we are climbing Mt. Baldhead which has 300 steps to top of sand dune. oudoors for the weekend and in gym during the week

Nj - cardio is my weakness, but do it just the same. I spend most of my time doing free weights and abs are my project right now. Is it better for me to do cardio before or after weights?

forgot! my WOD was a 2.5 mi power walk followed by 15 minutes flexibility yoga

Hey B3, welcome to the forum!

I am not a muscle group girl at the moment, so I will let the real muscle people answer. Today was a long work day, so: ran 1.5 miles at a good pace for me, 15 minutes intense core - 30 minutes not too intense yoga. Added some arm balances.
