a 5K "fun run" with obstacles. no running though only a brisk walk. we finished in about 50 minutes not too shabby considering the heat.

now relaxing poolside with my ssgp. :-*

I learned the hard way when I did spin classes without bike shorts and my butt hurt like hell.

I have a small fortune invested in quality bike shorts with quality chamoises and a state-of-the-art bike saddle.

No way I would ever attempt a 55 or 25 Mi bike ride ( or spin wo) without bike shorts....this big old butt of mine thanks me every time!!

that's why i don't do biking. you're supposed to wear special gear with cushioning which is supposed to help with the ow factor.

i still haven't tried a spin class tho because even with sitting normally on a regular chair if i sit too long my tailbone *hurts*. and it's not like i don't have a cushiony butt. cause i do. but apparently the cushiony butt doesn't help with the tailbone ow factor. :-/
