250 lbs of sand huh, sounds like yard work stuff. My grandmother is 93 and I swear it's her love of yard work that keeps her going.

njny: I used to do 45 mins on that thing. Remember to go up and down in speed -- you know interval so your heart will go up and down to increase your results. It may be boring but it works!

the 2 local PF's that i use both have them. the new one (closest to home) has 4 of them.

it's kinda boring so i will hafta make sure my phone us fully charged for streaming either tunes or a tv episode while i climb. it's going to feature in my gym visits from now on.

@njny: I have to tell you that is the best machine in the gym. PF doesn't have one. I wish it did.

last night when i got to the gym decided to switch out my favorite high calorieburn cardio & try something new.

so i spent 21 minutes (16 plus cool down) on the brutal looking stair machine. (the one with the endlessly rotating stairs). didn't get my heart rate up, was kinda slow, felt a bit bored, low calorie burn--wrote the machine off as "why'd i bother?"

then followed up with a bit less than an hour on a different machine.

today i've decided that boring low calorie burn machine could be a valuable ally in the war against gravity.

Today will be fab-pole and regular pole. Throwing some hula hoops in the truck and hopefully hooping with my younger daughter while killing time to pick up my older girl. Haven't tried a hoop in a bit, they were causing pain in my still healing ligaments on my right side. Wish it was easier to get the bikes in the truck, so her and I could bike in the park now that the weather is nice. Need to get the tailgate latch fixed AGAIN.

I did a second workout of back and biceps and a bit more cardio. I am feeling great lately....hmm......wonder why....LMAO!
