Saturday evening, Pecs press and leg extensions: 4 sets 2x35 @15 reps warm up.

8 sets 2x75lbs @ 15 reps then 8 sets 2x45lbs @ 15 reps

Elliptical fat burn level 12/20 @ 20 minutes @ 5.2mph

Resistive bike terrain level 9/10 @ 30 minutes @ 15mph - approx. 8 miles

2 sets @ 20 reps each side - oblique crunches

an hour of glute camp on the cybex at level10 followed by 20 on the treadmill (hill intervals level 10) and then once over lightly for legs: leg presses, leg extensions, & leg curls.

Yesterday was Chest,Shoulders,Triceps as well as Cardio day. Exercise: Mrs K Mr. K Inclined Bench 70x15,80x15,90x12 100x12,130x10,160x8 Chest Press 60x15, 80x12,100x10 100x12, 130x10,150x8 Pec Dec Fly 20x15,30x15,40x15 40x12, 60x10, 70x8 Shoulder Press 20x15, 30x15, 40x10 40x12, 60x10, 80x8 Side Lateral Raise 10x15, 12.5x12, 15x10 12.5x12,15x10, 20x8 Tricep Pulldown 20x15, 25x15. 30xx10 35x15, 55x10, 75x8 Tricep Exttension 12.5x15, 15x15, 20x15 35x12, 55x10, 60x8

Cardio:(TreadMill) Mr K: 3 Minute warmup at 3.8 mph, then 30 sec on 30 sec off alternating 4.0 mph and 4.4 mph, ending with 3 minute cool down at 4.0. Total 1.1 mile in 16. Mrs K;3 Minute warmup at 3.2 mph, then 30 sec on 30 sec off alternating 3.4 mph and 3.8 mph, ending with 3 minute cool down at 3.4. Total 1.1 mile in 17.

the stairmill & hill intervsls on the treadmill thursday followed by the hydromassage---man did my hips need that!

yesterday today & tomorrow: cybex arc trainer @ level 10.

i find the ellipticals at most gyms these days (lifefitness in particular) awful. i wish i could fix mine (precor). it's the only one i've ever used without the hip issues. have you tried the cybex, peg? worth a quick run, to see if you can add it in for variety.

Keeping all this delicious Holiday food in check..barely. Weight the same...yippee! Putting in running and elliptical to the weekly routine. The running is killing my calves so only once a week for now.

It is much more like plodding than running, and I suck balls at it, but it is easy, fast, accessible and cheap. I now meditate while I run, which is also cool.

In contrast, cannot do the eliptical at all. It makes my hips ache, so even at the gym I bike or treadmill.
