No, I used to be 130 before kids. Then after each kids I gained 20lbs putting me at 170 then I lost 20 putting me at 150 now. Not sure where u came up with 110? And I agree that would be too skinny!

So at 5'8 you weighed 110lbs pre kids? In my professional opinion that's just skinny.
But if that's what you're comfortable at, you can try. "Where you lose fat is genetically determined (I lost my boobs & in my face first). " Same with me, I hate my breasts, there was nothing left of them, just two flat flappy things that didn't even look like breasts. Thankfully I believe in better living through modern meds ;) |

But good thing is through all that is I kept my nice little "teenager butt" as my husband refers to it as ;)

Yes want to loose belly fat. I have 2 kids and with each I kept an extra 20lbs of weight :/ I've been focusing my achievements on the weight that I loose and thus far after my second child I have lost 20lbs :). My waist looks smaller and I can fit in smaller jeans, but the over-all fat in my belly hasn't really seemed to change much... Guess my belly knew how clumsy I am sometimes and provided that extra cushion for my babies ;)

Went back after work last night for our Yoga WOD.
But also worked on a personal challenge: 500 double unders. PR at 14:28! For our Yoga WOD we stretched hamstrings, warmed up grip with hand/wrist movements in a bucket of rice, spent 20 min on handstands (against the wall and out on the mat), then went through 6 salutations. Easy stuff - but the focus for us is active rest/stretching and gymnastic core work to complement our Crossfit training. mrs svc |

Losing fat is genetically determined.
Interesting, my tummy must be last on that list of places where I burn fat... :/. What is HIIT? I don't have a gym membership because with little kids it's hard to get to the gym. My "home gym" consists of resistance bands, exercise ball, and a stationary bike. I was thinking of getting insanity, or px90. Not sure though. Is there other equipment I need to buy to use those programs? |
