JW, do you add any other core work in besides sit-ups?

sit ups 6 days a week--250 ----Sundays off

Then gym 5 days a week---rotation--3 on 1 off--back, arms---legs----chest

Cardio 2 times a week---

Cut down on saturated fats!-----our nemesis---wine every day----but--some things you have to do!

Key is to START----then keep at it--after 3 weeks becomes habit---done it for 30 yrs--miss a day--feel like a bad day--

Only you can---to-morrow---to-morrow just will not work

I have been really consistent with my yoga practice, and I absolutely love what it does for my body. I am going to incorporate more running and some P90x stuff because I have it, but I could easily rely on the yoga alone.

what a silly statement "crossfitters have more sex" how do you know how much this non crossfitter has? Or any crossfitter or non crossfitter? Sorry if lifting my own body weight in the air many times, and contorting myself into a pretzel shape doesn't fill your bill of fitness, but luckily for me my husband and others find my form of fitness sexy as all get out. Now if I could just find jackets to fit the shoulders and biceps that would be great...

today? toting hay bales, lifting muck tubs, cleaning 20 stalls. AKA farm girl workout. Tonight 2 hours of dance.

Work out varies a little bit daily. Les Mills Pump (30-45min, soon to be 60min) 4-5 times weekly in the early evening with after morning follow up alternating these with 30 min on the elliptical (3miles) or resistance bike (7-8miles on level 9/10) to loosen back up.

Now that I'm back in baseball my routine is a little different. I do arm day Tuesday Thursday and Saturday, also baseball on Saturday, leg day is Monday Wednesday Friday. Sunday is a day off from the gym, but other activity such as cycling is encouraged.

Been doing more strength training and not so much cardio stuff these past few weeks (after the Star Wars weekend there was some upper glute tendonitis). Yesterday finally felt I was back & ready for a Crossfit MetCon.

12 min AMRAP: 3 chest to bar pullups, 6 thrusters 65 lb, 9 box jumps. Completed 8 full rounds plus 3 additional pullups in the 12 minutes.

more than halfway thru today's cardio (hour-plus).

it's been mostly (only) cardio these past few weeks. get back to the weights, etc in a couple more weeks.
