Part of my problem with pullups is that I'm just damn heavy. I can do 5 sets of 9 at this time, or 5 sets of 4 with a 25-pound dumbbell wedged between my legs.

Tomorrow, I am going to start the back routine of IFBB Pro Kai Green. My back has always been a weak point. Kai used to train at my Brooklyn gym but I never had a chance to meet him. This morning, while making my first breakfast, I started thinking about what it would be like to get in contest shape again.....I don't know. I feel I can do the diet; it's the cardio......

Amen. I can spend 10 hours on a bicycle outside, but 15 minutes on one indoors bores me to tears.

Today was leg day. Too cold and windy for a bike ride.

All my cardio is trail runs. Can't stand stationary machines and even street running is boring to me now.

Back and biceps and I finally got 30 minutes of cardio in in one session. It's not that I can't do it and even more it's just so boring....15 minutes recumbent bike and 15 minutes treadmill.

Today is legs!

I skipped the gym today too and did my shoulder workout at home: lateral raises, high pulls with dumbbells and the Arnold press. I always do three moves per body part. Not calves though. I cheat there as my calves are good.

Skipped the gym today, but made up for it. The Mrs. and I did a 52 mile bike ride.

I figure horsing out on PF Changs for lunch is OK provided it's a 52- mile round trip to have it.
