In honor of the Crossfit Games going on just down the 91 freeway from me this week, I *attempted* a workout know as "DT" in my back yard.

With a 155 lbs barbell, do 5 rounds of:

12 deadlifts 9 hang cleans 6 push jerks

The pros can do it in 5 minutes. A wekend warrior like me should be able to do it in 10 minutes or so.

After spending 4+ minutes completing round 1, I had to drop the weight to 135. Still took 12 minutes for those last 4 rounds. #dadbod :(

Don't judge me :)

yesterday was no real workout, just barn work, grocery shopping that sort of stuff. Just over 10,000 steps according to my fitbit.

This morning I did barn work with hubby and poled for a bit over an hour. Playing with a new way of gripping with my hands for one of my favorite spins. Liking it because it is one I can do on my weaker side and it works my weaker side arm more in both directions.

great workout in the ocean!

50 glute camp, 20 treadmill hill intervals and only one set x 15 on the higher weight of presses--hoping that's enough to keep 'em limber and not tighten up painfully tomorrow.

now soon as the wash is finished i can head up to bed. :)
