Good carbs are OK in moderation - gotta have some.

um, good carbs are better then ok, no? Our bodies needs a healthy balance don't they?

i keep forgetting this! good carbs are complex carbs, and not good carbs are simple carbs right?

5'3", now 135 lb.
Ave 100g/d protein, 160 g/d carbs (fruit, veg, milk/yogurt, sometimes rice/baked potato), 35-60 g fat/d. Goal 1400-1800 kcal/d.
There have been 2000 calorie days (maybe 2-3 per month) this summer.
Crossfit workouts (high intensity, most "short" duration, constantly varied, functional movements, weight lifting), gradually added some jogging (1-2 times a week) because I am doing a leg in the Ragnar Relay in Nov and got talked into the LV 1/2 Marathon in Dec.

10 lb lost since end of June when I started my gym challenge.

Sed, I LOVE fish but cannot tell you how hard it is to get fresh fish here. Plus my husband is a fisherman (in florida, not here) and fresh to him is caught an hour ago. Supermarket fish/seafood has been so is iffy... I'm hardly buying it. Beef, eh, occasionally, and beans are in a lot of my dishes, but not ever sure how to measure that. (like beans in my soups, i don't know how many I ate). The other night I had some hummus mixed with salsa, and was thinking about mixing in black beans i had in the fridge but didn't.
hmm.. I should have.
