Oh, and thanks on the DU...getting the hang of them, actually was able to do a DU, then a few singles, then another DU...but then the rope was all woogie and had to stop.

I'll get them yet!

Also practiced a few more Kipping Pull-ups. Can't get too cocky with them yet, if they see me doing more than one or two they'll pull my bands! LOL

Double WOD today (trying to do that once a week).
-----------------------------------
I'd like to try that, but getting up early is not my thing! LOL

Scraped knee getting off box? See, you need to get them to lower some bars on the rig!! LOL

Excellent work!

How long do these workouts take you about???
----------------------
Um, about an hour. I get off work at 5:00, go home (2 minutes) change to workout clothes, shoes and head to box (4 Minutes)

5:30 Warm-up starts for about 10 minutes. Then skill or Strength about 10-20 minutes and WOD (work-out of the day) usually starts top of hour. Anywhere from 5 minutes to 1/2 hours plus.

Cool down, stretching and head home for shower and meal. Total investment of time for me is about 2 hours, but I take a long time to cool down.

Important to do things we dislike (or need to work on), called "goats".

After 6 workout days in a row, I made myself rest today
(wasn't difficult when I saw what was posted: 50-40-30-20-10 Toes-2-bar with 200m sprint in between each set). hahahaha.

Have to go tomorrow cause I can't go this weekend (but will jog 5 miles on Sat morning before I go to work).

Ugh - Running Interval today!
Last time was 4/27/12 - through 4 laps my time was 20:41 (I rowed 1,500m instead of 6 laps) Total time w/rests 26:57

Today 9/20/12:
1 lap 235M - :57
Rest - :30
2 laps 470M - 2:14
Rest - 1:00
3 laps 705M - 3:49
Rest - 2:00
4 laps 940m - 5:20 - to compare total time through 4 laps - 15:49 a 4:52 PR!
Rest - 3:00
6 laps - 1,410m - 8:20
Total time - 27:09 - Hard to compare, but last time row was 6:16, this was 8:20 and almost same overall time so I'm happy with it!

BTW -I HATE running! LOL

" This is the first time in my life I've ever done anything even remotely physical like this. That's what I love about it, it's for me and about me. "

In my experience, this is one of the greatest perks of divorce. Oh my, I remember so well!! It's hard for me, to keep things about me, with others to care for. It's really a mental block I have. I keep telling my husband I could use a good divorce now, but he says we have to stay married. He's such a pain in the ass sometimes!
