Ok, so the costal ligaments felt a little better today. I figured I go see what the WOD was and decide...I decided to JUST DO IT! LOL

Warm UP 3 x 50' walking lunges 50' High Knee Skip 50' Inch worm 25 Shoulder Rolls - This was interesting with the ligaments, but I managed. Ankle felt good. Have one of the athletic lace-up braces now, gives better range of motion

Did some skill work on Kipping Pull-ups. Because of the bands still not able to string them...yet.

WOD - 5 Rounds for time: 20 Pull-ups (Red/Red) 20 Push Ups - full 20 Sit ups 20 Air Squats

29:54 - Ugh!

Hands are on fire! I use the gymnastic grips but still kills my palms near the fingers!

IB20Y - you need to take a break. I know it's tough, but I've been there-done that. Took 2 weeks off to allow my hip inflammation to regress.

yup, when one thing is injuried and you have to favor it, you end up overdoing other stuff.

I liked Games 12.3 - My goal was to get into the 7th round. Did 6.509 rounds. Women had 20" box & 75 lb push press.

Tough night - ends up I may have pulled/torn/damaged, whatever some of my costal ligaments on my right side. It's been bugging me since the weekend, I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Tonight at the Box I could hardly do Clean/Jerk or Push press. The owner's dad identified the issue and it was likely due to the "DT" workout on Friday and the way I've been favoring my right side due to my right ankle.

Anyway, got through it like the gimp that I am:

Warm Up 500M Row - 1:47 (:13 off my PR - dang injuries) then AMRAP 5:00 3 rounds 5 Pullups (Red/Red) 10 push ups (painfull) 15 Air Squats

Weights - Deadlift 3/3/3/3 205#/225#/245#/265# - felt pretty good then 20X 145#

WOD - "Crossfit Games Open Wod 12/3" AMRAP 18:00 15 Box Jumps 24" RX - I did step-ups on 20" box 12 Push Press 115 - Attempted, couldn't do because of side, did ring rows 9 Toes to Bar - did my normal toes to air with a kick - again, painful because of side 6 rounds, 12 steps in 18:00

Bought a new lace-up ankle brace today, doc said to move to that type, better for exercise and for exercise should wear it for 3 months or more just to be safe. It gave me more mobility and yet was supportive.

Sucks, Sucks, Sucks being injured. I'll really be syked when I feel better again. I'm not progressing! But at least I'm not regressing!

Did some running, some jump ropes and saw the Doc tonight - Ankle doing extremely well. Advised to continue with a lace-up brace during exercise, but OK without rest of time. Good advice as I'm still wearing the air-cast during exercise.

Didn't have lunch today so I was running on empty! Ugh. Warm Up 50 Double-Unders (I did 150 singles, gingerly) 40 Sit ups 30 Air Squats 20 Shoulder Rolls 10 Toes to Bar (toes to Donkey kick)

Front Squat for Weight traning - 125/145/165/185 3 x (almost back to my PR - 195) and Back Squat 145 20x unbroken

WOD: "HELEN" (this was going to be interesting - just did it a month ago before the ankle) 3 rounds 400m Run (gingerly, but did them all) 21 KB Swings w 1.5 pood 12 Pull-ups (Red/Red bands) My last "healthy" time was 15:34 - this time 16:46 - considering my ankle and lack of energy - I'm pleased with less than :25 per round off.

Yesterday: Unload week for strength. Did 5x5 Push Press at 75 lb.

WOD: OTM X 12m: 2 Power Snatch 75 lb, 4 burpees. Easy. But was working on speed (started 22 sec, ended up at 18 sec).

Today: Jog 7.5 miles (1:24)

OTM x 10m: 4 deadhang pullups (dropped down to 3 reps after 6th minute). WOD: 5 rds 200m run, 15 handrelease pushups, 10 Front Squats (85 lb from the ground, had to be unbroken). 14:25

All right - my time for yesterday was 11:24!

Warm up: 1:00 Max Double-unders - I managed to do single unders for 1:00 1:00 Couch Stretch L/R 2:00 Squat Hold - Ugh! 1:00 Navicular(sp?) stretch L/R All the leg stretches were really hard, legs are so tight right now!

Strength - Front Squats 125/145/165 - 5x

Wod "DT" - 5 Rounds - Same weight all motions (Rx 155 - I did 105) 12 Deadlifts 9 Hang Power Cleans 6 - Push Jerks 13:58

Hang power cleans are my Achilles tendon on this WOD! Plus not pushing 'cuz of the ankle rehab still.

SVC - I go to a box. Now if I had a box, I'm sure it would like to talk to your box, I know my man garden would...LOL

Was your box talking to my box this week? On Wed we did:

Ring Rows (I did supine) 10-8-6-4-2 Ring Dips (some Rx, some with 1/2 or full red band) 2-4-6-8-10 Took me 18:56 to do 3 rounds.

OK, PT guy said I was good to go, take it easy but advanced as much as he could do.

Warmup today - 2x 1 Lap 250M - actually did the running, a little gingerly, but did it! YAY 10 Push ups 10 Sit ups 10 Shoulder Rolls 10 Air Squats

Weight - Strict Press 95/105/115/125F/120 - 3X - failed on 3rd 125, dropped back to 120 and did all 3

WOD - for a few at the box - 30 Muscle ups (yeah, like that's gonna happen! LOL)

For Time: Scale for me (and most of the box) 90 Ring Rows 90 Ring Dips (Red/Red) Did them alternating sets of 5

Didn't note my time, hopefully they post it online tonight!

Hip/Leg felt pretty good this morning.

5 x 5 weighted pullup (5 lb).

4 individually timed rounds 30 wall balls (14 lb/9' target) + 30 box jumps (20"). 2:42, 2:38, 2:59, 2:56
