We have yet to find a fish or fish recipe that we like. We are not fish eaters, so I would love to hear your recipe on fish.

Anyone have quick recipes on beans/legumes? They are always an after though when I'm cooking and every recipe I have requires a lot of advance warning to have good beans.

I haven't read the book yet but I'm already doing most of the Power 12.

The Power 12:

Almonds and other nuts - Usually a couple handfuls of almonds a day for a snack

Beans and legumes - almost never because I rarely think ahead enough to cook them.

Spinach and other green vegetables - daily... we eat lots of spinach

Dairy (fat-free or low-fat milk, yogurt, cheese) - rarely any dairy...once in awhile some goat cheese.

Instant oatmeal (unsweetened, unflavored) - never not a cereal person

Eggs - daily for breakfast

Turkey and other lean meats - yes lean meats

Peanut butter - never

Olive oil - always

Whole-grain breads and cereals - rarely eat grains or cereals

Extra-protein powder to make smoothies - one in awhile

Raspberries and other berries - we eat a handful of raspberries or blueberries as our dessert in the evening.

I just ordered the original book and the one for women. Peer pressure.....everyone in my office is on this diet/exercise program and swearing over the results. Okay..... now I have to read the book.
