Ms.Sleepy is doing the couch to 5k as well. Neither one of us are not really runners. Just keep on doing it.

I am the worst runner on the planet! It takes me forever to build up mileage, and running a 10 min mile is a blistering pace. I am very strong; I can dance like a maniac for 4 hours, or cycle 30 without a problem, but I am a total lard ass.
I carry on undaunted, however, and I am training again with the "Couch to 5K" app so that I can run a 5K or two this Spring. If I manage to not injure myself, I will move onto "ease into 10K". If I ever manage to run a 10K, I will have someone waiting at the finish line with a bottle of champagne. And chocolate. |

I'll be doing the Color Run when it comes to Philadelphia. For now, doing lots of virtual 10K's, and half's. Signed up for the Phillies 5K and the Phila. Rock and Roll half. Trying to do 13 races in 2013.

Mrs. SVC - My sister did that one last year, I was too new to try it. They have an "Undie Run" coming up in a couple weeks - 1mile fun run in your skivvies! I was thinking of trying that one! LOL

If it comes to your town, try The Color Run 5K.
Another "not about the time" cause you can't go fast. It's about getting "attacked" with the powdered paint and having a colorful time. mrs svc |

I remember my 1st 5K...happy to finish! Good work!
Might do a "Cajun Run" on Fat Tuesday in Cleveburgh - a bunch of stops for beer and shots along the course...Now that's my kinda 5k! *Hick |

I did not place to win an award, but I was happy with my time- 27 minutes- and had a fun time!. Note: Had I been just a little older I would have been in third place- :)
