True story. Knees are delicate grudge-holding beasts. Once you fuck them over, they never forget, never forgive and never stop reminding you about that one time when you screwed up :-/

Fortunately my bastard knees only affect a few select positions in my extra-curricular NSFW life :)

Jax, I've had knee issues since the age of 17 when I fell and dislocated my knee cap. Been living with it since then. It's not always an age issue.

I'm too young to have knee issues but I tore my ACL at a time shortly after college when I was inbetween jobs and had no insurance and I never had the knee fixed so now I'm left with a very bum left knee. It sucks. Can't play basketball, can't play softball, can't really do any repetitive cardio exercises for too long. Fortunately, I can still play beach volleyball and golf. Thank God that my metabolism is still such that my lack of cardio isn't killing my physique but I'm guessing that time is quickly approaching, lol. I'm trying to build up the hamstring and quad muscles around the knee to help provide stability but that only goes so far.

Thanks Peg and Rings!

Peg - I've been progressively modifying and scaling work with my knee. it's getting better and the pain after the fact is lessening, but still nagging.

It's primarily a lack of cartilage (from surgery 15 years ago) so it's not ever going to get better (short of a replacement) so I have to learn to manage the movements that aggravate it and minimize the pain.

Currently using MSM/Glucosimine(sp?), gonna look into the others mentioned.

Chi Seed has been great in regards to fiber for me. It is natural. You can read about on the internet.

PhotoArt - don't be surprised. We have threads that start talking about socks and end up talking about hosiery! LOL

Haha, I think it's really amusing that this has morphed into a camera thread! I'm sorry you had to part with your beloved rig, I can only imagine how wrenching that must've been.

It was a sad day...financially had to do it, last real valuable asset I had at my disposal during a dire time.
