happy thought of day, only 2 more days until holiday season is over and get back to regular eating and work out schedule. on the postive, still 174 but feel weak as hell

HTOD: I've lost a cumulative 30 lbs in the past 3 months without having to really change my diet very much. Yay for Chipotle and pizza! I'm pretty sure I'll be able to lose another 20 in the next 3 to 4 months and reach my target weight.

Not so HTOD: I am way too sore, lol.

Happy thought: On Fri. I bought my first pair of size 10 jeans since I got pregnant with my daughter who turns 14 next month. My record small is size 9, so I'm almost there. Shelly

How is your carb and sodium intake? Generally if you can reduce those your body will hold less water and make the muscles more defined.

Also to really define your muscle groups, think about symmetry. For example to really show a lot of definition in the upper back make sure you are working your shoulders, triceps and lats also. For men hitting the traps also helps.

i know u are very up on fitness, etc. but why so many high reps? is someone advising you on this or is this your own creation. my understanding is that most studies suggest that more than 12 reps in a set is not usually such a great benefit.

do tell :-)

DeLina I'm a whimp with pain. Anything that feels like a bruise makes me happy... something that feels like someone sliced 3 inches out of my muscle and then reattached it too short doesn't make me happy. I turn 48 this month and that also bears down on me... ACK...approaching 50 real soon and I can't push himself like I could in my 30's. Sigh.

Poly the only knots I have ever had were in my calves. Our bed is extra high and when I swing my legs over I can't reach the ground so I have to drop down. Several mornings I have dropped to the ground to only crumble straight to the floor and had to crawl to the nearest chair to try and get up. That hurts. I don't push myself that far anymore.
