HTOTD is finally being able to do 30 minutes on the Elliptical trainer. I have been able to do it the last couple of times without much trouble. Next week I will start to add resistance to it.

One of the chefs at work today told me I was looking hot !! WWOOHHOOOO lol

Then he made me a fruit smoothie, it was awesome!!! Blueberries,blackberries, a splash of milk, a banana,a pinch of nutmeg and cinnamon,and 2 or 4 huge strawberries...thrown in a blender with some ice....awesome!!! made enough for everyone to have some !! He usually makes me a small bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and it is never the same....he makes it with diffrent fruit...sometimes diffrent nuts, sometimes with raisins...

whats your favorite??

Today is officially a rest day in my workout schedule, but I want to workout. I'm taking that as a good sign - a "happy thought" even.

I think I'll sneak some time on my bike and do some ab work.

I'm just getting back into this "alternative" (why is it an alternative!) lifestyle after an extended hiatus. But I've been enjoying myself thus far. I took a mini-vacation to Florida last week where I met some great people. And due to the intriguing anonymity of clubs, didn't exactly "meet" some others ;)

And I've met some really great people here.

I'll confess my weakness isn't bonbons but chocolate with almonds. I'm pretty good at controlling my urges though.

The NYC club was LeTrapeze - I'm not easily scared but LeTrapeze always managed to unsettle me a bit; not that it kept my ex and I from enjoying ourselves immensely. I've never been to Checkmates.

I recently started a 100% body-weight training program relying primarily on suspension straps. Their inherent instability really taxes my core. I'm also amazed by how much resistance I can generate by simply adjusting my body angle relative to the plane of the exercise. And another plus: their portability means I'm never w/o my "gym". Whether I'm traveling for business or pleasure, my gym comes with me and any excuse not to exercise goes far away..

When I first started using it... I kept hearing Mr. Sim yelling across the room at me "GET YOUR BUTT DOWN!" LOL!

They are killer! I use to do about 50 normal crunches a night. However, Mr. Sim always used this wheel thing and he told me to try it. Geeze... it is hard!! A couple weeks ago I could only do about 7 or 8 and I'm up to 20 now. I can't believe how it targets so many things at the same time.
