I normally lift weight, but have started a series of stretching exercises. Different, yet enjoyable:-)

HTOTD: Worked out after 3 days off, felt great to get back on the saddle. Its PMS week and so the sauna really, really helps alleviate my bloated feeling. I know its probably psychosomatic...but whatever lessens the "psycho" part of PMS is appreciated by my family lol.

Fantastic! You know, I do enjoy seeing women in their mid/late 30s and 40s who do this. Often women are told that after 35 thats it, its time to give up...you can't do it. But you CAN do it.

shell it makes me happy to see the changes she has made. When I first started working with her every night she would eat nothing but junk, and she is diabetic. Now she munches on fresh veggies with just a bit of ranch dip (hee hee going to make her dip with greek yogurt and see if she likes it) and overall much healthier food choices. she will never be a health nut, but any change towards the better is good!

my happy fit thought is despite not being able to do much with these stupid stitches in my hand I have not gained weight, I actually lost a few I had put on over the last couple of weeks.

PG, sounds like fun!!! And it is good that you are motivating this lady to live healthy. We had a great workout. I am proud of myself in I am able now to do an hour of cardio without stopping. Feels great.
