Last Saturday I ran a five mile race and I placed!!!! Although it was in fifth place for my age group I was very excited.

Been attempting to surf. Just kneeled up and rode a wave today. Progress. We are going every other day for 2-3 hours. It's an incredible workout, and the only one we've ever been able to commit to. We are already seeing results.

Back into our gym routines for a solid week after the disruptions of moving halfway across the USA. Feels good to feel good...but you knew that!

have an open house on SUNDAY so, needless to say I couldn't get to the gym today BUT I do have a HTOTD: I incorporated my exercises into my house cleaning.................... 1) squats while cleaning my sliding glass doors 2)climbing up and down the stairs doing laundry 3)stretching while taking down and hanging back up my curtains may not be the best workout BUT I made it work to my advantage :)

HTOTD: I'm trying to get back on the wagon. I worked out some and I'm going to go for a walk in a minute, it does feel good to get those muscles moving around again. It does feel good to do that at least. So wish me luck.

Thanks ~M! I am no where near the weights that you use when doing squats. When doing squats I use 15lbs. weights and do 3 groups of 10. I, too, use the Bosu but I mainly use it to help strengthen my knees and for balance. It is a GREAT feeling knowing how much I have accomplished just in one year!!

I am feeling GREAT! Working out 3-5 days a week and LOVING it. Got some new pics done and waiting for ~D to download them! I can't wait!!!!

I am not on a specific plan right now.

I am changing my intake to more raw foods (salads and fruits), but nothing specific yet.

Right now, I do stationary bike for 20 minutes (about 4.5 miles) a little bit of lifting weights, and about 15 minutes of laps in the pool.

Really, my goal right now is to increase my metabolism and lose some weight so I no longer have to take insulin in addition to the oral diabetes medication.

But I am down 12 pounds since I got back to the gym...
