HTOTD: I'm trying to get back on the wagon. I worked out some and I'm going to go for a walk in a minute, it does feel good to get those muscles moving around again. It does feel good to do that at least. So wish me luck.

Thanks ~M! I am no where near the weights that you use when doing squats. When doing squats I use 15lbs. weights and do 3 groups of 10. I, too, use the Bosu but I mainly use it to help strengthen my knees and for balance. It is a GREAT feeling knowing how much I have accomplished just in one year!!

I am feeling GREAT! Working out 3-5 days a week and LOVING it. Got some new pics done and waiting for ~D to download them! I can't wait!!!!

I am not on a specific plan right now.

I am changing my intake to more raw foods (salads and fruits), but nothing specific yet.

Right now, I do stationary bike for 20 minutes (about 4.5 miles) a little bit of lifting weights, and about 15 minutes of laps in the pool.

Really, my goal right now is to increase my metabolism and lose some weight so I no longer have to take insulin in addition to the oral diabetes medication.

But I am down 12 pounds since I got back to the gym...

The racquetball courts were redone and closed for a week....going in 15 minutest to play and I'm uber excited about it!!!

getting back into the swing of things and LOVING it!!!! my body is killing me but I am LOVING the pain - means I am building muscle and fat is leaving my body!!!!

I think I have found my "niche". As I said in the other thread, I have clamped down on the calories and increased my discipline in regard to what I eat. That alone has caused a great difference. What I'm really excited about is the fact that I do believe that sports vs. traditional cardio is what my body really likes. I of course adore racquetball, we have been doing that. I have started swimming laps which is incredible and I already see the difference in my arms and back. Doing that, resting like I am supposed and and doing my weight training really has my body feeling good. So I'm pretty happy about that, I'm liking how I look in my bikini lol.
