I have always loved the quote, created by a fellow trainer. He said:

"Don't be upset by the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do." That quote has always gone through my mind every time I have the slightest inkling of easing things up.

Lastly, I have come to tell former clients of mine (I used to be a trainer myself up and until three months ago) "Your workouts do not care if you're stressed or tired. Your body only cares for the hard work you put in, and rewards you accordingly."

in 10 days have gained 3 lbs. 9o days to go 17 lbs to gain.

HT: In preparation for our upcoming vacation, we've upped our workouts quite substantially. We both do at least 5 hours of cardio a week (mostly HIIT). In addition, our lifting went from the usual 30-45 minutes pre cardio, to 45-90 minutes of heavy duty lifting.

Starting Monday, we're doing the 5/2 plan, with heavy emphasis on high proteins, and very little carbs. Hoping to drop 8lbs of fat before May 5th!

Congrats everyone!

HTOTD: when I do my 3 miles today, that will be a total of 16 miles for the week! Loving the burn/feel-good mode that I am in!!

HTOTD I got a PR in two competition workouts that we did almost back to back (only 5 min rest). I think I'm ready for the Open (Crossfit Games)!

Congrats you guys on your body composition successes this past month!
