FHTOTD: hitting the workouts even at the end of a long hard day always lifts the mood, makes getting and staying asleep easier, and helps the overall focus stay sharp. gosh I love that feeling.

Week three of my training for the Tough Mudder and glad I decided to start slow.Instead of pushing my runs, I am alternating walking and running for 30 minutes on the treadmill with no knee pain so far. Once I complete 3 miles in 30 mnutes (yes, I am REALLY starting slow! lol) I will up it to 40 minutes, alternating walk and run.

A nice by-product is I've lost 3# so far.

Anne enjoys hiking, running and yoga. We tend to do these together.

I (Robert) also purchased a Trek madone a few months ago I'm finally getting use to the carbon frame.For years I rode a alumunin bike about 120 miles a week. My major fittness activites include sex, cycling, surfing, mountaineering, swimming, and running in that order.

HT: new road bike {Trek}.I won't get to do much riding until spring, but I couldn't resist a good deal and a comfortable ride that I loved:)

Muscle in my leg is feeling much better, but promised my Massage/Chiro I wouldn't try to put it over in my shoulder in a split until tomorrow.

Slow/Steady/Stubborn....probably better described as "determined". Mind over matter and pushing yourself to accomplish your goals - applies in fitness and life.
