Going into my 2nd week. Off to the pool after I get off of work and finish perving pictures.

I had to look a couple of those up on Youtube.

Making notes... might have to add that into my routine on off-days.

HT: Today was all about body weight exercises, no lifting, sheer agonizing fun! yes, fun, all stacked, starting with 30 seconds of each, and graduating to 45 seconds:

Dragon Walks
Spiderman pushups
Turtle pushups (also known as Hindu pushups)
Pike Roll-out
Dragon flags (failed at 12 seconds 3 times)
Burpees
Frozen V sit
Lawnmower extensions

There was zero need to do any cardio after this, lets just say I'm wiped.

How funny.... Last night my son called me and told me he joined the gym and is starting his healthy eating again! And all I had to do was leave the state, lol.

Hi itsbeen!! :) Aw, I'm so happy he started going to the gym again!! Don't feel guilty when they don't appreciate our suggestions, they tend to be on a different timeline than us. You've been setting a wonderful example for him, perhaps in his own time he will appreciate all it has to offer. (I do hope it is now tho.... :) It is amazing when they do, isn't it?!!

I'm staying the course sweetie and I do feel great. I've been trying to get my son involved too, but he does not respond AT ALL to suggestions or nagging! So I am subliminally encouraging and patiently waiting for it to be 'his' idea, lol.

HTODFP - My oldest son has been going to a gym for the last week! I'd been trying to get him to a Crossfit box for the last few weeks since my visit with him and his brother.

The subtle hints (read, nagging) must have paid off! He's down some pounds and enjoying the gym.

He and I used to go about 6 years ago and since the divorce I've felt a little guilty I couldn't get him into what I'm experiencing, but it might be happening now! Yeah Him!
