Completed my first BadAss Obstacle Course. Went with the 2nd Elite wave and caught up to some folks who started with the 1st wave. Time was 1:18 (kept the jog pace slow, paced myself, and took it easy on some obstacles to minimize potential issues with my back). If I had gone all out I might have done it in 1:05. But it was my first so I'm happy with the results. Serious road rash on my inner thigh from the cinder blocks at the top of the multiple 6 ft walls (seriously, about 16 of those suckers). A few bruises on my upper arms. But all in all a very good time. Highly recommend the challenge if it comes to your town.

Thats great. I bought a nice stationary bike and used it one winter, after that it turned into a clothes rack which is its primary purpose to this day. If next winter is like this one I'm going to have to use it, I seriously have been paying for my no cardio winter for the last few weeks. I can't even believe how bad my wind is.

Mr.Toomuch, if Mr Uriah sees clothes hanging on my bike trainer....he will probably spank me.

What I have is a magnetic resistance device that I can hook my road bike up to use when weather outside is not good.

Mr. Uriah got my new indoor bike trainer set up. Now I don't have to worry about going to the gym for a spin if it's nasty outside.

@PG, glad you are feeling better.

The weight gain was pre surgery. But I still think a lot of it was my body storing fluid and fighting itself over the last year.

Pirategirl: That's great. You probably hadn't even gained any weight. It probably was a bunch of fluid. In any event, it makes you feel better and that's a good thing.
