HT: Shoulders and arms have become my absolute favorite workout day. Perhaps because I see progress so much faster there than anywhere else.
Shrugged with 75lbs per arm (shrug machine). Seated palms-in alternated shoulder press 4x12x20# Shoulder press 4x12x25# Lateral raise 2x10x10# 1x8x15# Bent-over one-arm deltoid raise 3x10x10# 1x6x15# Incline biceps curl 3x12x15# Concentration biceps curl 3x10x20# 1x5x25# Preacher biceps curl 3x12x30# Wide row (Barbell) 3x15x50# Stiff legged dead lift 2x7x95# Back fly 2x10x10# Followed by a 60 minute jog that covered 6 miles. |

I have always loved the quote, created by a fellow trainer. He said:
"Don't be upset by the results you didn't get from the work you didn't do." That quote has always gone through my mind every time I have the slightest inkling of easing things up. Lastly, I have come to tell former clients of mine (I used to be a trainer myself up and until three months ago) "Your workouts do not care if you're stressed or tired. Your body only cares for the hard work you put in, and rewards you accordingly." |

HT: In preparation for our upcoming vacation, we've upped our workouts quite substantially. We both do at least 5 hours of cardio a week (mostly HIIT). In addition, our lifting went from the usual 30-45 minutes pre cardio, to 45-90 minutes of heavy duty lifting.
Starting Monday, we're doing the 5/2 plan, with heavy emphasis on high proteins, and very little carbs. Hoping to drop 8lbs of fat before May 5th! |

HTOTD
I got a PR in two competition workouts that we did almost back to back (only 5 min rest). I think I'm ready for the Open (Crossfit Games)! Congrats you guys on your body composition successes this past month! mrs svc |

Congratulations, that is awesome!
HT: in spite of missing a lot of gym time this past month, according to the scales this morning I managed to maintain at least. With a work project deadline this week I can get back to my normal gym routine next week instead of feeling married to my desk:) |
