Soaking in the tub with scalding hot water.

Felt so good in the gym that I over worked my legs.....this feels good!

@ South Vegas- I can help with the oly lifts next time I am in vegas. Look up catalyst athletics. That's is my current programs.

@ VABeach- you hit that point and it's awesome. I can be sore the next morning from legs and deadlifts, but the moment I step into the gym, all the pain goes away and the serenity hits. That is an awesome feeling my friend. Keep it up

Oh and the fact that I'm starting to see my upper abs for the first time since I was a teenager is encouraging too.

It usually takes about this long....

After about 20-25 days or so of not missing a single day in the gym, I am officially at the point where my body now craves it and looks forward to it. I love this feeling. It no longer takes discipline to get into the gym - I actually find myself walking out into the gym in the evening, picking up a weight for a moment, excited about the next morning's workout.

I *really* like the feeling of being excited for a workout rather than having to drag myself into it.

Almost back to my usual schedule. Just did three days in a row Crossfit. Unfortunately lost strength (my Olifts are pathetic) and stamina (from consistent 10-15 pullups down to 8-11 for max reps).

On the other hand, just did 13 handstand pushups unbroken.

FHTOTD: hitting the workouts even at the end of a long hard day always lifts the mood, makes getting and staying asleep easier, and helps the overall focus stay sharp. gosh I love that feeling.

Week three of my training for the Tough Mudder and glad I decided to start slow.Instead of pushing my runs, I am alternating walking and running for 30 minutes on the treadmill with no knee pain so far. Once I complete 3 miles in 30 mnutes (yes, I am REALLY starting slow! lol) I will up it to 40 minutes, alternating walk and run.

A nice by-product is I've lost 3# so far.
