Hey y'all, hope your day was good. I am super unmotivated and completely discouraged today. Number one, thank you to my friend who has already heard me complaining for the last hour, you know who you are. You are fabulous and I appreciate your ear. As y'all know, Jay and I both are pretty dedicated to our work outs. I am just so goddamn discouraged I just don't know what to say for myself. I am NOT trying to discourage others mind you, I guess I'm just venting and whining. I feel like I'm working my ass off for nothing. I'm not seeing any results, I feel like an exhausted piece of shit and I kind of honestly feel like saying fuck it, if I'm going to gain weight and not see results why the hell am I not eating what I want and working like hell every day? Seriously this sucks! At least when I was chubby if I wanted to eat a damn doughnut I could. I miss eating just to enjoy the pleasure of eating vs. worrying constantly about caloric intake, fat content and how much cardio I have to do to work this off. I can't remember when I ate without mental panic about that. I am completely stopping the work outs I am doing and shifting more to racquetball and swimming. Obviously an hour a day of cardio, weight training and the sauna aren't doing a damn thing. Its almost like I am fighting genetics themselves here. Anyways, I'll stop bitching. This is hard, frustrating and just sucks. Shells

Thanks for the info -M. I am going to do a wait and see since it is Thursday and try to work through it myself and if on Monday it is still bothering me I do believe I am going to follow up with a specialist :) Do wish me luck

not sure what happened. I injured it 2yrs ago and did everything the drs told me IE: physical therapy (3 months worth) Anyway I was doing my dance pole exercises and out of the blue my knee popped and it hasn't been the same since. I am hoping that if I just stretch it out and exercise it a bit (like I did when I was doing my physical therapy maybe that will do the trick. Wish me luck :)

an injury to my knee 2yrs ago is acting up again.................. just when I am feeling and looking GREAT!!! stupid damn knee is going to haunt me forever......

lost, what the hell are you bitching about! I looked at all the yummy pics on your profile and your freakin HOT!!! If we lived closer together we would invite you and Hubby over for some play time!! You must have hit a plateau is all, big deal that happens! God, perfectionists, I tell ya! What ever your doing is working just fine Girl!

Exactly M... unless you have a disorder... it is what you eat.. just like the old saying.. you r what you eat.. You have to burn off what you eat.. an if you are eating 10000 cals.. you have to work off 10000 plus to loose any... Like me.. for my size.. I can eat 2500cals a day.. and still maintain... but wife has to stay around 1200cals a day.. or she has to really work at burning the excess off.. ..

I agree! Hate the "loose" feeling over the "tight" feeling of muscles! The crappy food adds up faster than we realize - I'm just as guilty, but wow does my body respond quickly when I keep focused. I'm also fed up with women who whine and complain and gripe, but won't DO! We all have an incredible capacity to look and feel fabulous - without a ton of effort either. But a little focus and effort goes a long way towards creating beautiful bodies!!

You are so right about what you eat being crucial. I have really buckled back down calorically wise. I work in an office full of chicks with the "I'm married, he has to accept how I look or its too damn bad" club and its usually doughnuts and edible garbage galore. Not that I was really indulging...but I was certainly indulging more than I should. So I really tightened the reins both on that and alcohol and within the last 3 weeks I shit you not, my body is looking MUCH more tighter and I am feeling like I like to feel. I can't stand feeling "loose". Once you hit a certain level of tightness in regard to your body that loose, saggy feeling drives you nuts lol.

Keep holding on! I was 40# overweight about 5 years ago (previously couldn't even hit 110# years ago!). My whole life sucked on so many levels. Decided it was time for me to want something else for my life - for me! Got it in my HEAD, saturated myself with what I wanted for ME, focused on the health of life, and here I am 5 years later in just the most amazing health and training for a 50K Ultra Trail Run this Fall. I eat 75-80% raw fruits and vegetables, and, honestly, weight melts off when I keep everything in that ratio. I am not vegetarian - eat very unprocessed foods - local meats, eggs, and raw dairy. But that 75-80% is amazing when combined with MINOR exercise and a lot of mental desire to have something better for your life. The weight and vitality issues were solved very quickly with little effort - and I'm curvy and can add weight quickly on my 5' frame. Best to you!!!

We both have been there done that.. key is not to stop.. but we dont have to tell ya anything ya dont already know.. but support is the best.. Wife lost 20lbs an I lost 25lbs.. it took alot of hard work.. an even harder to keep it off.. course I have slipped.. an she is still losing.. I tease her an tell her..all I have to do is stop eating oreo's an milk.. lol..
