mmm, mrs dzzy is working every night this week so no real food for me. plus trying to drop 10lbs!!

my fav. thing about ohio is being at the grocery store and the check out lady saying' "do y'all want a sac with that?" i was like where the F am i?? haha

MrsSom, passive activities simply will not tone muscles. In order to tone muscles, you have to work them and break them down. Then, and only then, will they rebuild stronger and firmer. There is no practical way for you to tone your abs and glutes without placing a significant strain on your abdomen, and until cleared by your doctor, you obviously don't want to go there.

Remember, when it comes to exercise, there's no such thing as a free lunch. If it sounds too simple and easy to be true, it likely is!

fbotd, water weight...how can the scale say 5 lbs heavier than sat morning. know it's not real but still IRRITATING!!!

I think a better way of comparing is strides/distance/time. The caloric measurement is a bit more abstract and less likely to be meaningful, plus it will continue to decrease as your weight decreases.

If your time is constant always, then strides/distance is what you need to look at. You want them both to increase proportionately, or the distance to increase with strides staying the same or even dropping, indicating that you're taking longer strides. If strides rises while distance remains the same or drops, you're taking shorter strides, probably not a good thing.
