My arm and hand strength is good, but since a compression fracture of t4 and t5 a few years ago, I can't get any strength back in my shoulders, mainly the trap muscles. I can lift weights up to the point of injury, but I hit a wall above that. It's probably permanent. Also, to do pushups, and positions like on top for sex, I have to rely on my arms and legs. It sucks, because I used to be able to do the flexed arm hang thing in school- girls version of a pull up, and stay up there for over two minutes on the bar. I've been trying more lower body exercises, to make up for the lack of the upper ones I used to do.

Thanks south_Vegas! I think I got most of the gravel out of my hands... What a mess they are though!

BOTD: decided it was so beautiful out I would go for a run at our local rails to trails. Ran 2 miles in and turned around to start the final 2 miles back out... The small wooden bridge I had to cross apparently had a board sticking up which I did not see. I tripped and promptly fell on my stomach sliding my legs, stomach, and hands through the gravel. Legs and stomach aren't too bad but hands are a mess! I did finish the last 2 miles in record time though cause my hands were bleeding and burning so bad I couldn't wait to get to get to my car to pour water over them :)

I know I can tell a big difference when I'm taking my vitamins and when I'm not. I'm bad about forgetting them too, and am working on changing that. I would take them at bedtime but sometimes I'm up for over 24 hours and sometimes I sleep in the am then again about 14 hours later.

I am sure it is. It has to do with food too. I don't eat much when hubby isn't here which isn't a good thing.

That might make the difference, Carrie. I take a multi-vitamin and a B complex (B1, B2, B6 and B12) with C and it makes a world of difference in my energy. It also helps when I get plenty of sleep at night. I hope things get better for you soon!
