@trooper. Look I'm no nutritionalist but look really hard at your carb intake( carb minus the fiber content equals sugar). Realize you are not going to work a ab problem off you can never work off more than you can eat unless you have strict control of your diet and even then it's tough. What you will do with a work out regimen is build muscle which in turn will burn more calories . I'm dealing with a lower back and hip problem myself although my weight has maintained because I am a antil sugar freak. Just remember there weren't any fat Cro- Magnums

they said about a year if I was moderately active, 2-3 years most likely for my level of activity before the swelling totally subsides. If it ever does. Just frustrating to be working out and looking fatter. The swelling is up to 5-7 inches in one day depending on level of activity.

FB- abdominal swelling that with increased workouts really doesn't go away anymore so I work out more and look 5 months pregnant :( yay.

Yep I know.

The worst is evenings. Full of people using it as a social venue. Groups standing around one machine occupying it for an hour. At least the early morning crowd is a get in work out get the fuck out crowd.

@Cougar: After our exchange this am, I decided to do chest and tri's. So I did inclined flies taking particular note of what I had to told you earlier. Taking the dumbbells down past the 90 degree mark, most definitely impacts the shoulders and will cause injury if done repeatedly. I am big on form rather than weight. Heavy weight and poor form is just something I was taught long ago makes no sense. I am sure you already know that all things weight training can be found on bodybuilding dot com. It is my pleasure to be of whatever assistance I can be. It actually helps me too....thanks.
