Here is a great tip that really works for me-eat different foods. Everyone is different, but if I consistently eat clean foods, I get stagnant and lose no weight. However, when I eat foods I haven't eaten in many months (even foods that are considered fattening), it jumpstarts my metabolism, I can totally tell. The only way I've been successful getting my weight down in the last 2 years is by changing my diet frequently.

I use to believe many of these myself. After reading these articles, I am not so sure.
... Guess you can't post links but check out askmen . com and do a search for "Metabolism Myths", it is a 3-part article. Now, the things you list all have benefits outside of caloric burn, so they aren't bad advice. |
