Has anyone ever seduced another couple or single in a vanilla environmental? We always wonder about the people we cross paths with if they too are in the lifestyle or wish to be. We have thought about possibly emailing them (anonymously of course) and seeing the response. The wife has a new biz acquaintance and she is cute and seems a possibility, however that's a scary road to go down if it backfires. In a bar we have made some comments, but to no avail.... Suggestions or actual experiences?

User Details are only visible to members.	Trust us AkronFunTimes, we knew it was a lifestyle party because we subscribe to the lifestyle group that was throwing the party! No HisNHers, the wife wasn't recognized as we're pretty selective about the events we (used to) attend. But it does go to show that you never know who's listening!

We're probably still working on our dissertation though. ; ) Your hairdresser story is hilarious...Do you think your wife was recognized or just that the lady in the next chair saw her opportunity to drop hints to two seemingly open minded women? Not sure I would ever hit on my hairdresser; someone that can make my mop look good is worth more than gold. I wouldn't risk losing them!

True story: Mrs. Twonluv's hairdresser has commented several times how sexy she thinks I am so the Mrs. was planning on letting her hairdresser know where we were going to be later that night when the lady in the next chair chimed in with this "Theme Party" her and her husband were attending later on where all of the guests had to wear red. Needless to say Mrs. Twonluv ceased and desisted with all further flirting as we were planning on attending that very same lifestyle party as well. We can usually establish a good rapport with anyone we can strike up a conversation with as we are pretty good listeners, but are usually just missing an ice-breaker. "Hey do you know how much a polar bear weighs??? Enough to break the ice!"

User Details are only visible to members.	Fair warning: Waitstaff, bartenders and commission based salespeople cultivate (however short term) relationships with their customers. You must use your intuition to differentiate between those that are simply quite good at their jobs and those that are potentially interested in you. That being said, I have used Mr. and Mrs. O's suggestion in the past with a slight twist. I may mention that we are planning on attending a certain club or party and then rave about how fantastic this place/the people there are. If she shows interest I may mention that the place is a little saucy...as if I am sharing a secret. More interest? Then I let her know if she is ever interested in attending that we would be happy to escort her. Generally, if I've read the cues right, she is pulling out her phone and asking for my number. Another tactic that I've used is to comment on the attractiveness of another woman in the room. If her response is a sly smile with a little twinkle in her eye I then compliment her directly. Watch body language! The body tells! People moving back, turning their bodies away from you, and shifting their eyes away as if seeking an escape are sure tells. Listen and back off! Thankfully I have a charming husband who seems to have a knack for adding the occasional witty comment but takes a backseat in these initial contacts with unicorns in the wild. He will sit back, usually at an angle so he can watch the two of us interact. One hand on the bar (if that's where we happen to be), the other on the back of my seat or grazing my back and shoulder. He's engaged, not bored, but doesn't seem to need to be the center of attention in this instance. We've never actually discussed this but I think it's a key part of our success rate. On more than one occasion we've been flat out asked if we are swingers. While I don't disclose to strangers I'm not at all afraid to explain to our flirty new friend that we are very open minded people. Best of luck!

I try not to put the onus on the Mrs. but I have advised her in the past not to look at it as "hitting on" another woman, but just strike up a conversation and see where it leads. We literally spent 30 minutes in the jewelry store chatting with the clerk, she was even showing us pictures of her kids and vice-versa... but if it hadn't been for me we would've walked out of there without her business card.
