Marmalade Brigade! Fabulous band name. The Southgate owners say they are looking to open another venue. I'll keep my ears open.
Speaking of marmalade, traveling your direction and favorite spots closing down, is Toast on Market closing? (How's that for a segue?) I fantasize about their Monte Christo sandwich which features marmalade. I typically hate waiting for breakfast restaurants but that one....oh, yum. As long as I get coffee first I can stand the wait. We love your city. |

oh that is sad :( they had such a nice performing space downstairs. I was looking forward to returning to there with my pirate friends and possibly even performing there with them. Well planned performing anyway. The last time we were there our pirate friends were performing, along with a burlesque troupe and a band Marmalade Brigade.

Ah, PG- Southgate house is closing! It is so awful. I don't know what will happen to that beautiful old house and I don't know where I will hear strange bands with ridiculous names.
