The people of the United States just need to fire all the politicians. That'll solve it!

Very, very few people paid tax at that rate. I can get you the exact number but i think it was around 2400 or so.

We can't move forward, Since the following are 3rd rail, S.S.I, Medicare, or the defense. Dem's fix is raise taxes, Rep's cut benefits. What do you want them to do? My understanding if we raised S.S.I. with a 1% tax increase and raised the retirement age for those in the 18 to 25 age range would save the program. Medicare needs the right to negotiate fees and charges as private insurance does, and stop paying invoice immediately(this is now being done on prescriptions and we have saved Billions. Maybe we could reduce our national debt by passing a balanced amendment bill, maybe having a national lottery that would be used to pay down our debt. Washington has forgotten that this nation does great when all boats float. I think what President Eisenhower did to fund highway is something to consider a 90% tax on earnings over $1 million. What did the rich do? Hire more people and took less pay, what that work now?

The govt is not ever going to do anything for quality of life. As for the comment about the rich.......their wealth has nothing to do with your life, or mine, etc.

Having fun

No, the people are tired of loosing quality of life. Americans are not better off after Bush or Obama! The only winners have been the rich and big business! The house and the senate have no idea how to help main street America. The housing market collapse was a perfect example of how much they cared. Main street America was to small to save.

2m, the answer is not a third party. The answer is for the Tea Party to move into the Republican Party and make it a Barry Goldwater Conservative Party.

People are fed up with the Liberals and Owebama. The voter know the mistake they made voting for Democrats and Owebama.

Goldwater, "in your heart, you know he's right". He was 50 years before his time.

Look in the mirror... it is you! You didn't care enough to do your home work and elect the right people into government! You let these old same 600+ rich country club people run your life into the ground. Worse off, we payed them not to do their jobs and to exempt them self from the hardships they impose on us! Most of us run a budget ever month, if we are short of money we don't get to print more money!! Someday the over daft protection will be gone and it will put America back to the Great Depression.

Maybe it is time to add a 3rd party? You know the game ....2 votes to one wins the debate. Could it be that simple?
