Those evil speculators have now driven the price of oil DOWN! If only we could get the price to stabilize at about $100 a barrel?? Gimme a break. Oil is sold on the open market and price is set at whatever anyone is willing to pay vs. whateverthe seller is willing to sell it for. It fluctuates. That is how EVERYTHING is. Sometimes it sucks, sometimes it does not. Do you want the government to set the price on everything? I'm sure that would work out for everyone, right?

The bill is useless. Speculators in other countries will not be subject to the restrictions and ignore it. The end result will be that US traders will be unable to buy and sell oil.
