Almost all the M&G's (meet & greets) we have been to are at vanilla locations; to wit a hotel bar with a friendly accommodating staff. The hotel, of course offers a place to go if connections work out, and quite honestly there aren't enough lifestyle places to go to!!! As was mentioned below, it also gives comfort to those not quite sure about things that they won't loose control and be subjected to something they aren't comfortable with, or don't want to happen. It's kind of why first meetings are generally done at/in public places rather than private locations.

We have never attended one, but it sounds like a swinger version of the venerable BDSM "munch". You can look up the history of this on wikipedia. One advantage is that by meeting in this way it can serve as a ultra low pressure way for curious but cautious people to find out more about swinging.

I think one of the best times we ever had was when a group met at a "regular" place. The hosts monitored things very carfully and it went fine. Everyone took their fun back to their homes, hotel, etc. It can be done, but I do understand your concern and your point is well taken.

Swingers Group meets at vanilla locations
I wonder what it is about it? Why would a group of swingers go to a vanilla bar or location to have a swinger party? I don't understand it and it not just that I run a swingers bar either. Why take the chance of having the cops called out? I have seen this going on a great deal. So I would like to know what you the real swingers of the world think about it |
