Looking for feedback on anyone who has been in this situation. My wife is submissive - she loves being told what to do and pleasing her man, and I'm pretty sure it is more than just about sex for her. The interesting part is, she doesn't want to get that from me. Sometimes we enjoy a little light domination, but she obviously wants something where domination IS the relationship. We're very much in love after years of marriage and we're still doing it for each other in the bedroom - heck, three times just last night :) At first, I thought it was because I'm not very dominant - making love has always been both give and take for me - but now I don't think that's it. She really wants to submit to someone who can take her outside of her comfort zone, and just doesn't want that person to be her life mate. Nothing as serious as a collar with anyone but still, communication is the first, last and major component to this kind of relationship. VERY complicated and takes a special kind of dominant to achieve, and even then there are so many ways it can fail. My most important rule for my self is like a doctor's oath--'first, do no harm'. I can't see him as my dom because our relatonship is so opposite in real life. I am always the more aggressive of the two of us. That is why I want to be the sub because there is a sense of freedom in letting go of control.
