I've been looking for someone to spend an afternoon in photo craze mode for ages. While we've lived in WA for a few years, there just aren't that many in our current circle I feel I can ask if they wanna spend an afternoon acting as choreographer, make-up consultant, and creative genius. Not too interested in booking a professional appointment just because I have all these ideas of poses & such that I really just want to dork around for a few hours to see if any of them work on paper. So hey, if you have any trips to WA coming up... LOL Toledo: I like the eye for presentation you share in your observations. OH you just have NO idea how much he & I have been mock arguing about that pose of his. I called it a fratboy facebook shot which he didn't think was nearly as funny as I did. LOL you were much more eloquent :)

User Details are only visible to members.	One of the hardest things I've had to learn is to ask my husband or a friend to take my picture. It just does NOT come out of my mouth easily. Old self esteem "issues," being raised to think you're "less than," and so much blah blah blah, that it's a hard thing to ask. but I do. And in the end, it helps my confidence level. I love taking erotic photos. I love taking anyone's photos! I don't always love photos of myself, but I'm TRYING to be better about that. Sometimes someone will accidently capture me in a good angle/light. I love those unposed candid shots. I, too, was the one in the family behind the camera, especially when my sons were young. Welcome Acorn, and happy pic taking. Today, with all the phones and digital cameras, there is simply no excuse for someone to have a profile up with NO pics. Those always leave me skeptical. Gina

User Details are only visible to members.	Acorn, Your avatar pic is nice, and the one of you on the laptop is great. The only things I would change are; the pic of your hubby should be taken by you, not him in a mirror and the one of you on the couch conceptually is fantastic just fix the lighting.

Welcome to the forums Acorn! ;) The pic you show in your post is awfully awesome as well! ;) I am not at home in front of a camera like our beautiful Lost is, matter of fact, there are so few of me in our family albums my grandchildren may not know I even existed! :( In my defense about that, no one around here EVER thinks of holding the camera either!) lol But I do think nice profile pics are important. Even if they are not sexy pics, (or face pics) ... Showing that we cared enough to take some nice pics may attract others who also care about things like that, ...and maybe more, which is something I strive for when seeking playmates. Nice pics mean something to me and my first impression of profiles who have very bad ones sometimes influences me to avoid them. Even ones with messy backrounds sometimes make me think negatively and it tells me they if they didn't care how they present themselves I wonder what else they may not care about. Now sexy pics... you really do have to have a patient and possibly creative photographer too. If they take a bunch from different angles, (like suggested below) sometimes just one of them can come out great!! I have some good pics I can't use because the photographer, (who will remain nameless) did not SEE that giant tag sticking out or something similar!!! ...LOL!

I have a really hard time getting pictures of myself that I like. So to all of you who've shared your photo art with us; thank you so much for the inspiration.

User Details are only visible to members.	Taking pics comes easier to some than others. For me, I feel at home in front of the camera. I don't know why, but I just do. Like Gina said, refrain from taking shots from the ground up. It makes you look shorter and chubbier. Straight ahead/to the side is nice...and from the top down always works. Sit straight, do not slouch. And don't "try". The seductive face...some people can do it, some people look either pissed or confused. And smile. A smile invites people in. Oh, and "smeyes". Smile with your eyes. The eyes are very expressive. People try and show expression only with their mouth. Use your eyes.

User Details are only visible to members.	Did you ever consider trying a different camera man? Last time I was out of town on business, Liz surprised me with pics via email. She had a friend come over and take a bunch of pics, including some of her "thanking" the camera man. It was so hott.

User Details are only visible to members.	approving pics on here. There are some really sexy ones (yes people of ALL sizes and shapes) and then there are the, um, not so fine. Some reminders: If you want a pic taken at a good angle, do not shoot from the ground up. While you may look sexy being "on top," for a pic, not so much. Best if you want to look a bit thinner, have a pic taken from above you. Watch your backgrounds. NO photos on your wall w/ kids in them! Be careful what's framed around you. Sometimes that says more about you than the actual picture of your body. Dirty clothes, open drawers and closets, bathrooms with stuff all over the counters, etc. Toys strewn on the floor when you're trying to take a sexy pic? It negates any sexiness. For a pic on here at least. Don't try so hard to have a sultry face. Relax your face, smile, or not (some people don't like their smiles, I understand that well), no "deer in the headlights" look for men staring straight into their webcam...that's just sort of creepy looking. Find a friend to take a few good shots. Don't have to have many. Just 3 or 4 good ones that you LIKE. And there ya go. Gina
