Was out shopping with Wolfie for some new pants for work. Everything in my usual size was way too big. I ended up buying pants 3 full sizes smaller that what I was wearing back in June. |

--- so true. It's easy to forget to do this, and fret too long. And then when we do, its like 'dang, why didn't I talk about that sooner!' I also think it's a time thing. Being in 'busy' mode with life and work etc, it's hard to just stop and switch gears into a heart to heart easily. My husband is much busier than I, and I tend to not want to bother him alot. Atleast that is my excuse sometimes. |

My wife and myself do the same things. After being together 31 yrs and married for 28 of them, We have learned that open communication is very important even in the LS. We discuss the people we want or don't want to spend time with. We sometimes find couples who say they want to spend time with us, then once we are 1 on 1 with them eith one or both really don't wanna be in the LS and are in it only to please their partner. Husband and I had a really long, interesting, revealing conversation last night. I am happy that we seem to be the exception rather than the norm amongst a lot of couples we know, in that we take the time to express things that may be bothering us, talk to each other respectfully and come to solutions together. No resentments hanging on, no fears, no problem. We have to remember to do this more often, bc sometimes you don't really know what's bugging you, or making you "crabby" (meaning myself) until you figure it out together.

HT: Even after a VERY lazy weekend (except a lot of walking Saturday morning, and painting sets int he afternoon), I did not gain a pound, like I thought I might and am on my way to eating healthier and getting more active a little more each day.
I have a VERY busy week ahead, but the activities should all be kind of fun, and appeal to the fine arts side of me. Dinner tonight with my son:) |
