Specialist went real well. Just more steroids for kiddo for 2 weeks..

You're so right She, If it is bad then I will deal with it too. "I let" Dr. Mom intervene prematurely ...my fault, ...another lesson learned! From now on ...I tell on a need to know basis.

I know... lol, I'm the same way. I just don't like to scare my kids unless they need to be scared!! lol ... it wasn't time yet. I was doing everything the dr. was telling me to do, which was waiting... I was not disregarding such a thing ... as she needed to see it.
But this is how we learn... we've talked about things like this before. I learned from this. I will try to be more careful and try not to scare people, when what I really mean to do is support them or help them. There's no use for 'more fear' than there already is, you know. Everyday is a learning experience around here...lol!! |

kd lol....mama's are just mama's. I am the same with my kids. I will run my body into the friggin ground, but if the 7 year old gets a rash im like omg thats it, off to the dr you go! HAHAHAHA. You know how it is....we cannot bear the thought of our babies suffering or being sick, even if our baby is 18, 28, or 48.

Oh She, it's awful having to do all that. Everything is so far away here I lose my mind with unnecessary appts. Like the anticipation is not bad enough.... How are you doing with that? Are you very worried or are you thinking It's probably okay?

KD I am glad that you can get an appt with an onco.
The way my insurance works , you have to see this one, that one, get a referral and then approval by the ins company itself. My fingers are crossed for you :) |
