I got to drive the new car on Friday, and take the owner's manual home (because while I'm not technology-challenged, some of the technology on this particular vehicle is brand new to Land Rover, in fact brand new to the US market)! I was pleased and the dealer gave me "visitation rights" until all of the accessories are installed (don't ask why things like the luggage rack and rear light guards aren't installed at the factory!).
And my second happy thought is about to go into another thread here - but we had a great time at Mr and Mrs 2's party! S |

I know it says 65 miles, but it is 92 miles to get to the mall there. How close are you to there? Hint! Hint!

Yep, I'm thinking that this toy party thing could turn into a great time for all!
And as far as the car goes, I've been waiting for this SUV since last November, when we ordered it. It was one of about 200 made for the US market for launch. I haven't seen it in person yet, and I have to wait until Friday, cause it has to have its bath first, rofl (and yes, that's tongue in cheek. I make fun of the dealer every chance I get). S |

Oh cool!
I can say that if you ever get another chance to go to a toy party, you gotta go. This was my third. The first one was all women, as was the one last Friday. But the second party was for couples, and it was a total riot! I'm thinking Mrs 2 and I are going to have one in May that is going to be a couple's party. My HTOTD by the way is that my new car arrived in the Port of Baltimore last weekend (two weeks early) and is now sitting in Vermont, awaiting my loving embrace (and a few accessories that the dealer has to install). S |
