Despite listing my weight in my stats and stating in my profile that I am "plus size," I am still contacted by men who are then surprised when it comes up later in discussion. Sigh... read the profile please! Even though it can be a bit awkward at that point, I'd rather we discuss it then run in to a surprise later. I like myself way too much to just be "any port in the storm" for some horny guy so I do my best to make sure I'm dealing with people who appreciate all that I have to offer.

There's really no other attitude to have when it comes to this. I personally think way too many people get bent out of shape about being honest. We're all adults here, we can take it. Well, I say that, but I guess truthfully, there are those who cannot handle someone turning them down. I don't understand that way of thinking though. Just like in regular life, people are drawn to a certain type of people. Not everyone clicks, STS. Oh and thank you for the compliment on my eyes. You are quite beautiful yourself! |

B and B...I think you have the perfect attitude. You know who you are, you love who you are...and if others think otherwise well....play with someone else. That is a good attitude in my opinion. And p.s...you have striking eyes.

Discrimination happens in every facet of life. Growing up, I saw terrible things said and done to my mother because she is native american. I'm not a small gal, and I'm okay with it. If someone doesn't want to meet us because of my weight, I'm okay with that. I'm pretty quick to tell someone if I am not interested, and I appreciate the same respect.
